Q2 2020 Consumer Price Index – Child Care Series

The Australian Bureau of Statistics will release their June Quarter 2020 Consumer Price Index including the Child Care price series.The index includes a national and state based snapshot out of pocket expenses for families using child care in metropolitan areas.Out of pocket expenses are calculated as gross fees less the Child Care Subsidy received by families. The ABS models the appropriate CCS to subtract as part of their methodology.For more information please click here.
