Loose Parts Play Free Online Workshops

Outdoor play in regional Queensland is going to soon get a whole lot more fun and adventurous. The Heart Foundation is supporting Nature Play QLD through the Active Australia Innovation Challenge, to encourage more loose parts play to regional Queensland. To make this happen a partnership between Nature Play QLD, BUSHkids and The Outsiders Play Advocates has been formed.

 

The first step will be a series of 3 separate online information sessions for educators and parents to be involved in - all completely free. This format has been developed to assist the project to be Covid19 aware and compliant. To consolidate the learning and celebrate loose parts play, a play event will then be held at selected host venues thoughout regional Queensland in Oct/Nov. The project is about inspiring more educators, play workers and parents to enable outdoor play opportunities for children.
