It Takes a Tasmanian Village : The Nest in action – from ARACY Framework to Child and Youth Wellbeing Strategy

It Takes a Tasmanian Village is Tasmania’s first comprehensive, long-term, whole of government Child and Youth Wellbeing Strategy for children and young people aged 0-25 years. The development of the Strategy was informed by an extensive consultation process summarised in the Consultation Report – Your Voice, Your Views, Your Say.

 

This webinar will outline how ARACY’s The Nest inspired and informed the development of the wellbeing domains and descriptors outlined in Tasmania’s Child and Youth Wellbeing Framework and how these wellbeing domains were used as the architecture for the consultation process and the development of Tasmania’s Child and Youth Wellbeing Strategy.

 

We will also discuss how feedback from Tasmanian children and young people has informed some changes to these wellbeing domains and descriptors and how we will continue to incorporate the feedback from children and young people to improve these domains and descriptors into the future.
