The promises and potential for benefits from technology in children’s lives are well promoted but the risks to their cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development are not well recognised by those who need to know and act to ensure a healthy media environment for children, especially the young.

The Australian Council on Children’s Media [ACCM] and The Australian Council of Educational Leaders [ACEL] with the first Annual Children the Media National Conference combine to co-present a new 1 day national conference that brings these conversations, issues and research to the forefront of discussion across leaders, professionals, producers and policy makers.
