CHILD PROTECTION (OVERVIEW)

This workshop is designed for people who wish to refresh on previously knowledge or who have previously undertaken “Identify and respond to children and young people at risk of harm” qualification or workshop. This session will revise participant’s knowledge and skills regarding child protection legislation.

 

OPTIONAL BRIDGING

 

Participants have the option to complete a bridging assessment to upgrade their qualification. You can do the bridging assessment if you have gained either of these qualifications (and can supply a certified copy of your qualification):

 

• CHCCHILD401A Identify and respond to children and young people at risk
• CHCCHILD401B Identify and respond to children and young people at risk

THE BRIDGING ASSESSMENT

 

If you participate in the webinar and you wish to upgrade your qualification, you will need to complete the written assessment tasks. Every person tackles assessment tasks differently, however it should only take a couple of hours to complete the assessment tasks.

 

Once a certified copy of your previous qualification is received by ECTARC and the assessment tasks has been successfully completed, a Statement of Attainment for CHCPRT001 Identify and respond to children and young people at risk will be issued.
