Body safety education and training for EC educators

This 2 hour workshop will cover:

 

• child sexual abuse: characteristics and statistics
• grooming
• what is body safety and why we teach it
• body safety skills, lesson plans and resources
• disclosure

 

Part of the body safety lesson plans, outlines the importance of building a trusted safety network for children.  ChildSafe feel that it is critically important for educators, who often spend the most time with the children, to be able to talk about body safety with them.
