ACER research conference
Research Conference 2025 will tackle the big questions on how to transform education systems to enable the holistic growth of all students.
Over 2 days in Melbourne this week, presenters share their expertise (and in some cases launch new work) on the themes of leadership and teaching, curriculum and assessment, student support and conditions for learning and system transformation.
Speakers include UK education experts Professor David Hopkins and Professor Bill Lucas, Dr Tracey Burns from the US, and former ACER CEO Professor Geoff Masters AO, as well as senior ACER researchers connecting evidence with practice.
Panel discussions will include the topic of how smaller states approach system transformation, with contributions from education department leads from South Australia, Tasmania and the Northern Territory.
