4th Infants and Toddlers: Practice, Pedagogy and Research conference

The Centre for Research in Early Childhood Education at Macquarie University is proud to announce that we will host the 4th Infants and Toddlers: Practice, Pedagogy and Research conference. The conference brings together practitioners, researchers and other key stakeholders to examine the importance of the first three years of life.

 

The conference will:

 

• Provide a focussed time and space for critical debate and reflective discussion about contemporary approaches to infant-toddler education and care.
• Support the development of a support network for those working in, researching and managing infant-toddler education and care programs.
• Enhance the professionalisation and profile of specialised infant-toddler practice, pedagogy and research.

 

OverviewHeld over two days, Friday 22 - Saturday 23 November 2024, the conference will celebrate the theme of Learning together across contexts and communities and provide opportunities to hear and present on new and innovative infant-toddler practices and research from a range of educational contexts and communities. A packed program, including keynote addresses, presentations by educators and researchers, and discussion panels will ensure that there is lively conversations and debate.

 

The 4th Infants and Toddlers: Practice, Pedagogy and Research conference website is now available and registrations are open.Scheduled for Friday 22 – Saturday 23 November 2024, the conference will revolve around the theme "Learning Together Across Contexts and Communities." Attendees can expect a dynamic program featuring keynote addresses, educator and researcher presentations, and engaging discussion panels.Additionally, we are pleased to announce a Call for Papers for the conference.
