2021 ECA Reconciliation Connect

Advancing reconciliation in early childhood education and care

As part of our ongoing commitment to promoting reconciliation in the early years, Early Childhood Australia (ECA) warmly welcomes you to be part of our online event: 2021 ECA Reconciliation Connect on Friday 14 May 2021.Attendees of this innovative online event will learn about a culture dating back more than 40 000 years by hearing from engaging keynotes and participating in interactive breakout sessions that will promote dialogue, understanding and engagement between Indigenous and non-Indigenous participants. Reconciliation Connect will give early childhood professionals the perfect opportunity to engage online (from the comfort of their own home or workplace) with other educators from around Australia, and it will give colleagues within the organisation a chance to move forward in their reconciliation journey together as a team.This event will ensure the reconciliation focus in early childhood does not slip from view. More than ever it is helping to create a better future for all Australians.Reconciliation Connect will be hosted as a one-day online event and the format will be highly interactive. For the participants who’ve previously attended ECA’s Reconciliation Symposiums in person, there will be updates from regular speakers as well as new presenters, and ideas to build on the journey.
