New childcare centre opens leasing opportunity in Melbourne's East

A brand new, purpose-built childcare centre being developed by the Chinese Association of Victoria (CAV) is seeking an experienced operator, creating a rare opportunity to establish a premium childcare service within a growing family and healthcare precinct in Melbourne's east.

Located at 8 Ashley Street, Wantirna, the fully fitted centre is licensed for 107 places and is positioned within the CAV's established community campus. The site is strategically located adjacent to both Knox Private Hospital and Eastern Health Wantirna, and is co-located with the CAV Weekend Chinese Language School, which currently attracts over 500 students from Kindergarten to Year 12 each weekend.

The centre will be ready for immediate handover and operation upon completion, allowing an incoming provider to commence services with minimal upfront capital investment.

According to global commercial real estate services firm CBRE Group, the opportunity comes at a time when rapid population growth and residential development continue to fuel strong demand for early learning services across Melbourne's eastern suburbs. The broader catchment area is forecast to expand significantly over coming years, supported by major new housing developments and robust family demographics.
