Honour Early Learning announces proposed takeover of two Edge services

Edge Peregian Breeze and Edge Zillmere are set to join Honour Early Learning’s portfolio, with the ownership transfer anticipated today, 2 November 2026, subject to final approvals.
Honour Early Learning has announced that two Queensland services operated by Edge Early Learning are set to join its network.
The proposed transfer involves Edge Peregian Breeze and Edge Zillmere. Honour said further information would be provided directly to families and centre teams as transition arrangements were confirmed.
“We’re extremely excited to welcome the children, families and educators of Peregian Breeze and Zillmere into the Honour family,” Chief Executive Officer Zalee Turner said.
Transition discussions to focus on service communities
Ms Turner acknowledged that a change in ownership could bring uncertainty. Honour said supporting a smooth transition for children and families would be an immediate priority.
“We want to understand what children love about their Centre, what families value and what these teams need to feel supported as we move forward together.”
Honour describes itself as a Queensland provider of early learning and kindergarten programs, with a focus on children’s learning and wellbeing, family partnerships and practical support for families.
Further ownership changes across Edge’s network
The announcement follows Edge Early Learning’s entry into voluntary administration in August.
Honour joins other providers seeking to take on Edge services, including Goodstart Early Learning, which entered a conditional heads of agreement for 31 centres, and Nido Education, which announced its intended acquisition of nine services.
Honour’s proposed transfer remains subject to final approvals.
