Victoria’s Minister for Training and Skills, Gayle Tierney, is encouraging all Victorians to nominate trainers, learners, Learn Local programs and providers that are making a positive difference in Victoria’s adult community education sector.
The Awards recognise and reward excellence and innovation in pre-accredited adult community education. The Award prize pool is $84,000, with winners in the organisation categories receiving $10,000; individual winners $5,000; and finalists $1,000.
Over 230 community organisations across Victoria focus on individual learner needs, offering tailored support in digital skills, literacy, numeracy, and employability, transforming the lives of over 30,000 Victorians each year.
To learn more about the awards, including key dates, award categories and nominations criteria, visit Learn Local Awards 2024. The Awards also have a dedicated Facebook page.
