Camp Australia marks Employee Appreciation Day with EVP launch

Outside school hours care (OSHC) provider Camp Australia has marked Employee Appreciation Day, acknowledged annually on the first Friday in March, by reimagining its Employee Value Proposition (EVP). 

 

While the provider initially developed and implemented an employee recognition program some years ago, and has since worked hard to build a culture of recognition and reward, Employee Appreciation Day offered the ideal opportunity to re-work and launch the existing offering. 

 

The new EVP is called Grow with CA your way and has been created to attract the right talent, keep them engaged, celebrate their amazing work and provide them reasons to stay and build a career in the OSHC sector.

 

There are five key elements of the Camp Australia EVP:

• Career pathways
• Care
• Celebrate.

 

Camp Australia has also developed strategies, benefits and policies to ensure they deliver on each of these elements to their team.

 

“Grow with CA your way is our way of making CA the best place for our team to do the work they love,” said Warren Jacobson, Camp Australia’s CEO. 

 

“It’s a holistic approach to our EVP, and we have a range of exciting initiatives planned for each of our 5Cs, which we will be launching in the weeks and months ahead,” he added. 

 

Mr Jacobson revealed to The Sector that two elements that will appear under the banner of “care” are four annual wellbeing days for staff, along with a ‘birthday surprise’ for all permanent team members.
