FDC provider Community Vision Australia welcomes new CEO Yvonne Timson

Community Vision Australia (CVA), a family day care (FDC), disability and home care provider in Perth’s northern suburbs, has announced that current chief operating officer, Yvonne Timson, will commence the role of chief executive officer from 1 March 2023.
Board Chair Phillip Thomas made the announcement recently, describing Ms Timson as “a capable and proficient leader who always seeks growth”.
Her substantial involvement in the organisation and deep understanding of the customers and the sector make her the ideal candidate to lead CVA, Mr Thomas added.
Yvonne Timson is an associate member of the Governance Institute of Australia and has experience in various sectors. She believes that good corporate governance is the foundation of any successful organization and will bring her wealth of knowledge to create a stronger and more connected community within CVA.
“My main goal for CVA is to continue to work towards a more inclusive community where people can live independently in their own homes for as long as possible,” Ms Timson said.
The Board thanked outgoing CEO Michelle Jenkins for the significant contributions to CVA over the last seven years, including leading the business through the global pandemic.
Ms Jenkins will continue to support the transition until June 2023.
