Anna Learmonth returns to Only About Children as new CEO

Bright Horizons, the owners of Only About Children (OAC), have confirmed that Anna Learmonth has returned to the group she previously led, being re-appointed as Chief Executive Officer. 

“Anna is an established and valued member of the leadership team at OAC, having led the organization previously as CEO from 2017 to 2020,” a statement from Bright Horizons said. 

Since leaving OAC in 2020, Ms Learmonth held a number of senior positions at Goodstart Early Learning including most recently as Chief Corporate Services officer, a post she held for 14 months.  

Commenting on her appointment Ms Learmonth said, “I am now in my first month returning to the role of CEO and I am truly delighted to be here.”

“My vision is for OAC to continue delivering consistently high-quality early learning and care in all the communities we are in.” 

“Having entrusted OAC with the care of my own two growing children during their early years, I know the significant benefits of a strong early education foundation, and the positive impacts this can have for both children and their families”. 

Ms Learmonth has replaced John Burns who joined the Group in September 2022. Mr Burns transitioned out of the CEO role in August 2022.
