National winners of 2022 FDCA Excellence in Family Day Care awards announced

The 2022 Family Day Care Australia (FDCA) Excellence in Family Day Care Awards winners have been announced at a Gala Dinner held in Hobart, hosted by Nova Peris OAM.

2022’s Educator of the Year is Hannah Smith of Mid Coast Family Day Care, New South Wales. Coordinator of the Year in 2022 is Kathi Hewitson of Foundations Family Day Care, Victoria, while Elite Family Day Care, Western Australia secured Service of the Year. 

“It was truly heartwarming to hear from our National Winners last Saturday night as they took to the stage to accept their awards,” an FDCA spokesperson said. 

“Their speeches spoke of courage, diversity, passion and representation.”
