Guardian appoints new General Manager of Greenfields

Guardian Childcare and Education has confirmed the executive leadership appointment of Megan Black in the role of General Manager of Greenfields, the portfolio responsible for the execution of Guardian’s growth strategy.
Ms Black will join a number of other recently appointed executive leaders as the Group moves to position the organisation at the forefront of early education and care (ECEC) in Australia and lay the foundation for future innovation and growth.
Commenting on the appointment Warren Bright, CEO said “Megan is well-known to the business, having been part of the team for more than four years. Originally trained as a lawyer, Megan has successfully made the transition into a commercial operator and has the talent, capabilities and experience needed to be successful in this role.”
The role will require Ms Black to be responsible for leading a team of project managers to launch up to ten new greenfield centres per year and then oversee their ongoing operating performance for the first 12 months.
Commenting on her appointment Ms Black said “I‘m excited to be working with a recently assembled team with an enormous amount of experience and talent who share the passion to provide opportunities and programs that set our children up for success and provide critical support to Australian working families.”
