Evolve completes Independent Director reorganisation with new appointment

Evolve Education have confirmed that Kim Campbell will be joining the Group as an Independent Director effective 19 September 2019.
Mr Campbell will fill the vacancy created by the retirement of Grainne Troute announced on 16 August 2019 and will join Hamish Stevens, Chris Scott and Chris Sacre on the Board as well as Norah Barlow, the current acting chair until a new chair is secured.
Mr Campbell’s appointment completes the Director component of the Board reorganisation with the search for the new chair ongoing.
Commenting on the appointment Ms Barlow noted “We are delighted that Kim will be joining the Board, and we look forward to his contribution as we expand the business in Australia and deliver on the turnaround in New Zealand. Kim is enthusiastic about the prospects for the company has confidence that he can make a strong contribution to our growth strategy.”
Mr Campbell until recently was the Chief Executive Officer of New Zealand’s Employers & Manufacturers Association having retired in February of this year. He holds the Chairperson position at Auckland Shows and also emhTrade Ltd and is a director of Douglas Pharmaceuticals.
