Moriarty Foundation is an Aboriginal Community-Controlled Organisation (ACCO) that is creating a future where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children have the best start so they thrive and reach their potential.
Our locally-led programs harness the power of sport and education to create pathways that lead to improved outcomes in education, wellbeing, health and employment.
Indi Kindi is a ground-breaking, on Country early education program for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children from birth to five years of age that integrates culture, education, health, wellbeing and development to give them the best start in life.
John Moriarty Football is an award-winning program that uses football to positively engage Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and youth aged 2 to 18 years of age, with groundbreaking impacts on health, education, wellbeing and connection to Country.
Every year Moriarty Foundation reaches over 5,000 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children in 15 public schools in 16 remote and regional communities across NT, Qld and NSW.
We believe by embracing the Aboriginal Worldview, our community-led programs can create opportunities and transcend intergenerational disadvantage so Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children thrive.
We place the child at the centre, the family around the child, the community around the family, and the nation around the community.
