NESA Registered – Critical Reflection on Practice Series – Webinar series

 

This short webinar series touches on the importance of critical reflection as it supports educators to think more deeply about their work and to question the impact of their practices on the lives of children and families.

 

Part 1 – Introduction to critical reflection
Date: Monday 15 March 2021
Time: 4.15pm – 5.00pm
This introductory webinar focuses on why critical reflection is important and the skills needed to authentically engage in the process.

 

Part 2 – Processes and strategies for critical reflection
Date: Monday 22 March 2021
Time: 4.15pm – 5.00pm
The final webinar introduces participants to processes for critical reflection that help educators have the courage and confidence to questions their practices.

 

This event is suitable for experienced early childhood professionals

 

Completing Webinar series – Critical reflection on practice will contribute 1.5 hours of NESA registered PD addressing 3.6.2 from the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers towards maintaining Proficient Teacher Accreditation in NSW.
