About the role

The service manager position will require the successful candidate to lead the performance of this established service in Brindabella, Canberra.


Key responsibilities of the role include:


  • Ensure all enquiries are addressed appropriately and in a positive manner, providing relevant information to promote access to the service. These must be documented and reported on in accordance with policy and procedure
  • To coordinate and maintain all service information and ensure that record systems are up to date, in accordance with regulatory compliance, are easily accessible to management and are kept private and confidential from all other parties
  • Ensure that statutory and organisational requirements are met and current, including, but not limited to attendance sheets, allowable absences, childcare usage reports, child care benefits, receipts and enrolment information
  • Ensure that all procedures, including weekly reports, debt management and service purchasing (within agreed approval limits) are maintained and provided within the required time frames


About you

You will have previous leadership experience, at least 5 years leading and developing high achieving teams, providing a high standard of quality care with experience working to compliance standards, hitting business targets and demonstrating the capability to build a strong and effective team environment.


The successful candidate will also have experience leading and developing a team of professional educators.


High levels of administration and organisation skills are expected, business management abilities will be essential and confident people management skills will be regarded highly.
