About the role:
- Centre Coordinator Position – Mentor a team of passionate educators!
- Full time position – 38 hours per week
- Monday to Friday morning and afternoon shifts + 10 % Super + Split shift allowance
- Position Type: Mix of block and split shifts – excellent work-life balance!
- 10% above award wages dependant on your experience and qualifications (Approx. $75-$85k)
- Collaborate and build positive rapport with all stakeholders to ensure the smooth running of service
About the service:
- Service licensed for 105 children
- On average 25-30 children attend each morning and 40-60 children attend each afternoon – Excellent opportunity to grow attendance and rapport!
- This service operates on school grounds in a shared space
- What does it mean if it’s a shared space? This service is a set-up/pack-down service. Pack up services allow for flexible approach to setting up your learning environments, excellent opportunity to collaborate with your team of educators!
- You will have access to the parish hall, school library, outdoor play spaces
- Before school care typically operates indoors
- Afternoon school care offers a flexible approach to have both indoor and outdoor play spaces available for a rich educational program!

- Before School Care – 6:45am-8:45am
- After School Care – 3:00pm-6:30pm
- This service does not operate in vacation care – other shift opportunities available during this time

The Essentials:
- Highly Desired or willing to complete: relevant Qualification in childcare or teaching – Certificate IV in Outside School Hours Care, Cert III in Early Childhood Education and Care
- Required: Experience in OSHC or ECE setting
- Highly Desired: Experience leading a team of educators
- Highly Desired: Experience in Inclusion Support
- Current ‘CHCPRT001’– Identify and respond to children and young people at risk’ training (or willingness to obtain- 1 day training).
- Current ‘HLTAID012’– Provide an emergency first aid response in an education and care setting’ Certificate (or willingness to obtain- 1 day training).
- Valid and current NSW Paid Working with Children Check.
- Child Safety –We are looking for someone who understands, adheres, and promotes The National Principles for Child Safe Organisations.
- Proof COVID-19 Vaccination: it is a requirement in NSW that any ECEC (and OSHC) staff across the state must receive two doses of a COVID-19 vaccination by 8 November 2021
