THE COMPANY

Bright Future Early Education Centre operate family-owned centres, with two current locations at Eight Mile Plains and Springwood, both rated Exceeding the NQS. We
are preparing to open our brand-new service at Park Ridge!

THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking passionate, sincere and dedicated Lead Educators and Assistants to join our brand-new centre in Park Ridge.

This role is for someone who enjoys building partnerships with others, has a bubbly and friendly personality and has great patience to nurture and care for children of all ages. In particular, educators with aligned values, including a focus first and foremost on building attachments and bonds with children, will be highly considered.

Applicants with flexibility between the hours of 6.30am and 6.00pm Monday to Friday are desirable, however we are able to cater fairly to support the team to achieve a
healthy work-life balance.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Individual Strengths:

  • Compassionate, humble and sincere in interactions with people (children, families and staff)
  • Positive attitude and fantastic teamwork skills
  • Knowledge of the EYLF and dedication to planning engaging experiences and environments for children
  • Welcoming and positive personality, with the ability to gain respect and trust from families and children as a professional in the field
  • Creative thinker and passionate to set up a brand-new room
  • Great verbal and written communication skills

Essential Criteria:

  • Previous experience as Lead Educator or Assistant
  • Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care qualification, ACECQA equivalent, or above, or actively working towards
  • Current Blue Card, First Aid Certificate (including Asthma and Anaphylaxis)
  • Current and accurate knowledge of National Quality Standards
  • Thorough knowledge, both written and in practice, of Early Years Learning Framework
  • Up to date knowledge of fire training, safe sleeping practices and child protection
