The People and Performance Operations Specialist is a newly created role, that supports the Senior Human Resources Manager (SHRM) in the delivery of Green Leaves people and performance strategies.

 

Working closely with the SHRM, operational management across Green Leaves and the people and performance team, the role supports people operations, developing and delivering people related initiatives that support our business objectives.

 

Day to day the role:

  • Oversees the workflow and projects of the people and performance coordinator, leading and mentoring this role to develop a deeper skillset
  • Supports our Centres, Operations, Recruitment and Payroll teams in resolving industrial and policy-based queries and issues
  • Supports the Recruitment, People and Performance team in reviewing and approving contracts for new hires and change amendments for existing team members
  • Develops and delivers training across Award interpretation, industrial relations legislation and internal people policies and procedures
  • Actions required industrial relations changes internally to ensure Green Leaves remains industrially compliant
  • Develops and updates internal Green Leaves policies in line with regulated changes as required
  • Works across health, safety and wellbeing to ensure effective workers compensation case management and promotion of wellbeing across the group
  • Drives outcomes across absenteeism, including the following up of absentee reporting to ensure effective management of excessive sick leave
  • Assists in the coordination of benefits, rewards and longevity programs
  • Maintains personnel and other HR related files
  • Assists in the collation of data and information for HR metrics
  • Supports the HR Systems Officer on systems related initiatives and programs of work
  • Supports the broader team as required.
