The Service:

anzuk Education- Early Childhood is proud to be working with a beautiful “exceeding” service in the Pascoe Vale area. The service boasts beautiful and natural indoor and outdoor spaces, allowing the team to implement enriched play-based programs to support the holistic development of every child. They value diversity, equity, and sustainable environmental practices as well as encouraging children to be active participants in their own learning.

The early learning centre has a tight knit group of children and educators in the rooms each day. The service as well as the city council recognises the importance of meaningful partnerships with families, which is paramount in creating an inclusive and strong relationships.

The Opportunity:

The Centre Director is a senior leadership role within the organisation. The role is responsible for managing the daily operations of the service and leading the team to ensure exceptional pedagogy and professional practice.

As the director, you will be responsible for staff management, fostering professional relationships with families and the local community, and delivering a high calibre early learning program.

The director works in collaboration with the educators at the service and other council departments to ensure that the service operation and care for children at the highest of quality.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in managing early learning centres, leading change, and renewal as well as previous experience with financial systems and managing budgets.

The Candidate:

You will be a Diploma or Bachelor qualified Early Years professional with 3+ years’ experience in leadership who possesses strong knowledge and understanding of the EYLF and NQS.

You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as extensive knowledge of the EYLF and NQS. In addition, you will have a proven track record in the management of budgets, rosters and policies.
