The Centre

anzuk is working with a client who owns a state-of-the-art early childhood service located in the Eastern Suburbs .

Your new role

This is a rare opportunity that has only resulted due to the current Centre Manager relocating. Your role as Centre Director will require you to oversee the full operation of the running of the centre in regard to compliance and staff development. You will use your previous experience in a similar role to ensure the high standards of the centre are maintained, using your interpersonal skills to create an inclusive environment for children, families and educators.  You will be supported by an experienced off the floor 2IC and an excellent management team.

You will be rewarded with an enticing remuneration package and will be able to negotiate flexible work conditions.

The Ideal candidate

To be successful in this role you will have previous experience as Centre Director, demonstrating an ability to lead and manage all aspects of the daily running of the service. You will have excellent communication skills, strong focus on being hands on with the team and ability to build trusted relationships with families and the wider community.

Suitable applicants must have:

  • Diploma of Children Services or Bachelor of Early Childhood (or ACECQA approved equivalent)
  • Level 2 First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma certification.
  • WWCC or VIT.
  • Right to work in Australia.
  • Ideally a minimum of 2 to 3 years’ experience as a Centre manager.
