The Centre
Anzuk education is working with the leadership team of one of Melbourne’s premier private schools.
This newly renovated early learning service is committed to providing excellent early childhood education and care to their community. The service celebrates and embraces the natural wonder of children’s curious minds and endeavours to cultivate a life-long interest in learning. The service is inspired by play-based approach and focuses on encouraging the development of children’s imagination, language development and vocabulary skills, children’s social connections and emotional well-being and spatial understanding.
The opportunity
As the Room Leader you will be responsible for the development and Implementation of high quality learning programs for the 16 toddler aged children in your room. Your role will be supported by 4 professional and knowledgeable co-educators.
The service operates above ratio, and offers 4 hours of planning time for the Room Leader.
This is a full-time position commencing in January 2025.
The Candidate
To apply for this role, you will have ideally at least 2 years experience in a similar role and must hold a Diploma in Children’s Services as a minimum qualification or ACECQA approved equivalent.
In addition, you will have an in depth knowledge of the EYLF and NQS. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and must have a team focused philosophy, as well as looking to be part of the local community and build lasting relationships with families.
