The Centre
The centre is a new, purpose built service, in a lovely community in the Adelaide Hills. The Centre boasts vast amounts of natural light and natural resources.  This extremely well resourced and generously funded centre provides a nurturing and welcoming family environment. Management is passionate about promoting a culture of equity and inclusion for their children, families and staff. They have a focus on delivering high quality, enquiry based programs and strive to create a warm environment with a strong sense of community. 

The longstanding management is extremely supportive of ongoing professional development for all staff.

With sister centres across Adelaide, there is opportunity in this role to progress beyond Centre Director in future.   
  
The Opportunity 
  
A rare position has become available for a Director to lead a professional team of educators and teachers, with a strong focus on being hands on with the team in a coaching and mentoring capacity. You'll develop an exceptional culture where staff are valued and families are receiving the best care in the community. This is a large centre with a diverse range of children and families. You'll be working alongside a staff group who are keen to be mentored.

The Ideal Applicant
The ideal applicant for this role will have at least a few years experience working as a Director in a long day care setting. You will have a Diploma in Children's services or a Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood (or ACECQA equivalent.) In addition, you will have an in depth knowledge of the EYLF and NQS, and a genuine passion for working with children and leading a staff group. 

• Hold a Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood (Or ACECQA assessed equivalent)
• Current RRHAN and first aid 
• Working with children check for South Australia
