Your day-to-day

No two days are the same; this role is diverse, with depth and breadth to cement your career, now and into the future. Areas of core responsibility include, but are not limited to:

• Execute the Finance strategy for G8 including demonstrating financial market understanding  
• Lead financial operational activities including financial accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, treasury and other key finance matters 
• Optimise financial operational performance and processes whilst managing risk and ensuring an appropriate control environment  
• Delivering accurate and timely financial reporting including compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and to support dealings with investors, lenders and other stakeholders
• Contribute to the financial planning process to deliver robust forecasts and budgets 
• Contribute to the capital management strategy for the Group to deliver it in line with the Group’s strategy

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills and experience

• A degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field with CPA or CA equivalent  
• Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role in an ASX-listed environment  
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and financial analysis 
• Proficiency in financial management software and tools   
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage stakeholders at all levels 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities 
• Hold, or be willing to obtain, a valid working with children check
