As Head of Acquisitions – Property, you'll lead the end-to-end acquisition process—identifying, negotiating, and securing new and replacement centres across Australia.
Reporting to the GM of Property, you'll leverage your expertise in property acquisitions, M&A, and development to build a strong pipeline, ensuring our centres remain high-quality, accessible, and sustainable for future generations.

Your Impact:
- Lead end-to-end acquisitions to expand and enhance Goodstart's centre network
- Identify and secure new and replacement sites aligned with our growth strategy
- Conduct due diligence, financial analysis, and market research to guide decisions
- Negotiate and execute Freehold, Leasehold, and Business Acquisitions
- Build strong relationships with developers, agents, councils, and stakeholders
- Support the 5-year network plan, ensuring long-term sustainability
- Collaborate across finance, legal, and operations to streamline processes
- Provide expert advice and reporting to senior leadership
- Drive continuous improvement and mentor the property team

You’ll bring to the table:
- A minimum of 10 years’ experience leading acquisition and development transactions across large, multi-site tenant-focused organisations, with a proven ability to manage high-volume targets nationally
- Expertise in AFL’s, Leases, Sales Contracts, and a solid understanding of Town Planning and Development Application processes
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple projects across a national framework and deliver on time with uncompromising quality
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to initiate change and champion new approaches
- A bachelor’s degree in property or development (preferred) or equivalent experience, along with a strong background in financial management and reporting
- A collaborative, team-oriented approach and a commitment to fostering teamwork across the property group
- Experience in the childcare leasing/acquisition and development sector is highly desirable.
- Flexibility for domestic travel and working outside normal business hours as required
