At Citipointe Outside School Hours Care we provide after school care and vacation care over 100 children. We are seeking enthusiastic and energetic educator who is passionate about supporting primary school aged children to grow and develop and are committed to seeing them learn and have fun in a happy and safe environment.

Responsibilities

Work collaboratively with educators, children, and families to plan and implement an effective ongoing cycle of planning, documenting, and evaluation per the National Quality Framework, and My Time Our Place.

• Have knowledge of the NQF, MTOP, Emergent curriculum, current regulation and legislation
• Be well informed about and are interested in children's development during their foundation years
• Develop and implement a high-quality, inclusive educational program that caters to the diverse needs of children in OSHC, ensuring it promotes their growth and development effectively.
• Supervise and guide staff in observing, planning for individual children, and enhancing the overall learning environment, while collaborating to ensure the program is continuously improved
• Have strong demonstrated experience of curriculum documentation, whilst having fun and developing your emergent curriculum styles
• Show enthusiasm and develop rapport with your team, while working with children, families, management & other educators
• Have the ability to confidently and clearly communicate, relate and interact with children, families, management and other educators
• Follow and implement our centre procedures & policies, and comply with all relevant government regulations
• Be enthusiastically involved in all aspects of the running of the centre

Qualifications

• Currently hold or working towards an ACECQA approved OSHC qualification
• Experience working as an Educational Leader would be preferable but not required
• A current Paid Blue Card
• Current Child Protection Certificate
• Current First Aid, CPR and Asthma and Anaphylaxis Certificates
