The Opportunity

Reporting into the Chief People Transformation Officer, the Head of People Partnerships & Performance is at the helm of the HR Business Partner national operations team, which collaboratively ensures the practical execution of the People strategy. Their primary aim is to establish and integrate People procedures that encourage innovative approaches to work, empowering leaders to take a proactive and confident approach in managing their teams to enhance both personal and business performance across all service areas throughout the nation.

Your day-to-day

As a member of the P&C Leadership Team, it is your responsibility to ensure the successful delivery of the People strategy and operational performance. You will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the People strategy, making certain that essential activities and initiatives are integrated across Operational and Centre teams. Additionally, your role will involve: 

  • Evaluating and incorporating a P&C Business Partner operating model.
  • Overseeing the execution of the people strategy and agenda throughout the network, adhering to established timelines and performance cadence.
  • Crafting and implementing an efficient framework for performance management, encompassing workforce planning and pipeline management. You will also guide the PC Business Partners in facilitating people planning processes with the Operations team.
  • Defining clear and measurable KPIs and objectives for the BP Operations.
  • Actively promoting the organisation's purpose, vision, and values while fostering a positive organisational culture.

Your contributions will be instrumental in driving the organization's People strategy and optimizing operational performance.

About You

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills and experiences:

  • 7 + years’ experience in likeminded role with a national multisite client group. 
  • Formal qualifications in HR or a related discipline. 
  • Ability to think strategically, with a demonstrated success implementing best practice HR strategies and processes.  
  • Demonstrated ability to partner closely and effectively with other Senior Leaders and an Operations team to deliver business outcomes and results. 
  • Strong cultural understanding, and execution of change strategies that foster capability and transformation.  
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and the ability to influence, collaborate with and motivate others. 
  • Ability to analyse, interpret and utilise data to inform decision making and actions.  
  • Demonstrated experience working in a fast paced, multi-site organisation. 
  • Demonstrated professionalism and the ability to maintain confidentiality. 
  • Strong time management and organisational skills. 
  • Demonstrated initiative, capacity to work without supervision and confidence in decision making. 
  • Willing to undertake interstate travel when required. 
  • Hold, or be willing to obtain, a valid working with children check
