Step4 opens new Melbourne showroom showcasing early learning environments
Australian-owned supplier Step4 will be opening a new showroom in Melbourne, positioning the space as a destination for early learning environments that combine functionality, creativity and a sense of home.
Located in Southbank, the showroom reflects Step4’s commitment to quality and innovation in early childhood education resources and furniture. The space has been designed to demonstrate how purpose-built environments can support children’s learning, connection and wellbeing, while also inspiring educators to create meaningful experiences.
Step4 CEO Alby Kennard said the showroom was a natural extension of the company’s work with early learning services across Australia.
“At Step4, we believe every early learning centre deserves spaces that feel like home. Our new Melbourne showroom showcases how thoughtfully designed environments with fit-for-purpose education resources and furniture can support children’s learning, connection and wellbeing, while inspiring educators to create meaningful experiences,” Mr Kennard said.
The showroom opening marks a milestone for the company, which has supplied early childhood resources and furniture to services nationally for more than two decades. From custom-designed furniture to engaging learning materials, Step4 aims to balance functionality and creativity in ways that empower both children and educators.

The official opening event will be held on Thursday 4 September.
Step4 said the showroom will serve as a hub for services to engage with ideas, products and designs that enhance inclusion, sustainability and innovation in early childhood settings.
